Leading Without A Badge - National Leadership Summit 2027 - Proposal Submission Site

Instructions

This is the submission form for conference presentations, workshops, and panels. All submissions are due by September 15, 2026, at midnight Pacific Time. All selected participants will be notified by October 30, 2026.

Proposals will be evaluated on originality, presenters’ subject matter expertise, and stated learning objectives. All proposals should be written in your own voice and reflect your own original ideas. Please keep this in mind if you choose to use AI to write your proposal.

All submissions must be from an individual who is currently or formerly served in a public safety position but may include corporate participants who are NAPSPS sponsors. For information about the NAPSPS sponsorship program, please contact Laura.milford@napsps.org.

10. Please write a short description of your presentation as it would be listed on the event website.

11. Please list at least 3 learning objectives for your session. Learning objectives should be clear, actionable statements that define exactly what the audience will know, understand, or be able to do by the end of your session.

12. Please describe your proposed presentation, workshop, or panel. This is the primary narrative reviewers will use to evaluate your proposal. Your response should explain what the session is about, why it matters, how it will be structured, and what participants will learn or take away. Please be specific about the topic, approach, audience relevance, and, if applicable, any interactive elements or panelist perspectives. We recommend writing at least one full paragraph.

13. Headshots and professional Biographies - Please upload your headshot and professional bio. If you plan to have additional co-presenters or panel members, please upload a headshot and professional bio for each of them, as well. Headshots and professional bios will be uploaded to the conference website if your presentation is selected for the agenda. Headshots should be at least 600 x 800 pixels.
